Antipodium – Backstage at LFW SS ’12

Some shots from backstage at the Antipodium show at London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2012, where I was working as the photographer for Andrea Fulerton Nail Boutique.

The casting for the models was an interesting mix of male and female, young and old, including some special faces such as the beautiful Poppy Delevigne (below).

The nails team creating a fabulous look using Andrea Fulerton’s own metallic silver shade, ‘Annie’, which was bejewelled with silver gems to give a glamorous finish. Painstaking application – the girls did amazingly to get all 11 models done in such a short space of time. Serious attention to detail! It fully paid off though, they made such a statement and brought an added edge to the hair and make up styling.

The catwalk show was held in the Portico Rooms at Somerset House, a beautifully airy yet intimate setting. The show was short and sweet, with a great collection being shown – pictures from the runway to follow soon.
