Kyoto – Sneak Preview

Can’t resist sharing a sneak peek at the first edits from Nova‘s shoot yesterday in the Kyoto Garden in Holland Park – the beautiful setting for our Japanese inspired shoot, which features the incredible debut collection by designer Rex Lo.

Totally in love with our model, Maddie at Models 1. She had the perfect face for pulling off the looks and made clambering over rocks into such a graceful task. Still blown away by the work of the amazing team – think we created something really special and could not be more grateful for everyone’s hard work.

Rex Lo – Behind the Scenes

Yesterday was shoot day for Nova! This time featuring some very statement (and very heavy!) pieces by fashion designer Rex Lo.

Our main inspiration for the setting of our shoot – the effortless Karlie Kloss in this editorial from December 2011 edition of Vogue Germany, shot by Alexi Lubomirski.

And below the debut collection from London College of Fashion graduate, Rex Lo – an insanely talented designer whose pieces we were lucky enough to build a fashion story around.

Behind the scenes snaps from our amazing shoot yesterday in the beautiful Kyoto Garden in Holland Park, London. Model is Maddie White @ Models 1 – I don’t know what else to say about this girl except she is the absolute dream. Bone structure to die for and an amazing work ethic, not to mention just adorable.

Braving the peacocks! 

Our tranquil setting in the Kyoto Garden – beautiful waterfalls and stone features, a pool with koi fish and peacocks wandering across the garden. Was hard to remember we were in London at times, the perfect shoot location.
